The peninsula is primarily a vacationing destination for nature lovers because it offers hiking, biking, and swimming in countless bays.
In Orebic and Trpanj you will find an offer of water sports, banana boat rides, tube rides and water skiing. Since the peninsula is known for its unspoiled nature and perfectly clean water and thus has a rich underwater scenery, scuba diving is one of the more popular forms of entertainment. Except in Orebic, you'll find diving clubs in almost every tourist spot.
Lovers of amateur hiking will enjoy the ascent to St. Elijah (961 m), the highest peak on the peninsula to which you can begin to climb in Orebic.
Each resort, apart for the accommodation, has several cafes and restaurants that in the evening turn into a place for a night out and leisure time with friends. As Orebic is separated from the town of Korcula by a narrow channel, a boat that departs for Korcula can take you to a somewhat richer nightlife on the island.
Gastronomic offer is very rich and along with excellently prepared seafood you can enjoy in a rich and quality offer of wines such as Dingač and Postup. In the settlement of Lovište, located in a wonderful bay, visit the restaurant-tavern "Bili Dvori", in Ston visit the cellar "Bakus" and the restaurant "Bota Šare", in the vicinity of the ferry port Prapratno visit the bar-restaurant "Bella Vista".
