Beaches on Peljesac and in Orebic

Peljesac peninsula is industrially undeveloped and therefore isn't considered a polluter of nature and sea. The sea is therefore crystal clear, and the coastal strip of the peninsula is sufficiently indented and abundant in small coves where you will find a variety of beaches: sandy, rocky or gravelly. In settlements where tourism is somewhat developed you can find paved beaches as well. All the beaches that are located in the tourist areas are decorated, and have coffee bars, snack bars, restaurants, rental chairs, parasols, and sports equipment. Here we will mention only some of the most popular ones:

Trstenica Beach - located in Orebic, on the south side of the peninsula, near the camp. The beach is pebbly with a gentle sandy entrance to the sea, and is therefore ideal for families with small children. On the beach you can rent chairs and parasols, and there is natural shade where you can shelter yourself from the sun. Also, there is a restaurant and a cafe in the vicinity.

Guests staying in Trpanj, except for the city beach, can choose some of the bays around town:
Pozora beach – a gravely beach, located below the hotel,  ideal for families with children
Beach in the bay Duba - 13 kilometers away from Trpanj, a gravely beach
Beach Divna - 10 kilometers away from Trpanj, not exactly easily accessible, but an attractive sandy beach, can be reached by a narrow and unmaintained road
Blace Beach - located in Blace bay, known for its mud that helps in curing rheumatism and female genital disorders.

Beaches in the village Lovište - sandy and rocky beaches that attract not solely guests staying at this resort. There are several bays in the vicinity, which can be reached by boat, and the purity of the turquoise colored sea will attract you to come again

Prapratno Beach - a beach and a resort of the same name, situated on the southern side of the peninsula, with a bay overlooking the island of Mljet with which it is linked by ferry. This is a sandy beach, surrounded by pine trees and therefore rich in natural shade. The beach is ideal for families with small children and non-swimmers.
