Peljesac peninsula is industrially undeveloped and therefore isn't considered a polluter of nature and sea. The sea is therefore crystal clear, and the coastal strip of the peninsula is sufficiently indented and abundant in small coves where you will find a variety of beaches: sandy, rocky or gravelly. In settlements where tourism is somewhat developed you can find paved beaches as well. All the beaches that are located in the tourist areas are decorated, and have coffee bars, snack bars, restaurants, rental chairs, parasols, and sports equipment. Here we will mention only some of the most popular ones:
Trstenica Beach - located in Orebic, on the south side of the peninsula, near the camp. The beach is pebbly with a gentle sandy entrance to the sea, and is therefore ideal for families with small children. On the beach you can rent chairs and parasols, and there is natural shade where you can shelter yourself from the sun. Also, there is a restaurant and a cafe in the vicinity.
Guests staying in Trpanj, except for the city beach, can choose some of the bays around town:
Pozora beach – a gravely beach, located below the hotel, ideal for families with children
